- Make a reservation deposit of 700 €uros and then pay the rest directly to the travel agency.
- In order to travel we also need a photocopy of the passport, full address and a contact phone number that is not the traveler's (the insurance company asks for it, in case you make a partner in Egypt and do not want to return ;) .
AFTER sending the data to piramiamor@gmail.com, you pay 700 € to make the reservation in Spain and the rest in the Travel Agency account.
THIS PRICE IS QUOTED AS OF 03/21/2024 UNTIL August /10/2024, AFTER THE MENTIONED DATE, IT MUST BE QUOTED AGAIN DUE TO THE VARIABILITY OF FLIGHT COSTS.
THESE ARE THE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR OUR TRAVELERS:
- There is no need to get vaccinated. Egypt is not a biological risk country. Egypt is NOT a dangerous country as some disinformation campaigns by various governments have led people to believe.
- Bring a fanny pack for money and documents. There is less risk of theft than anywhere else in the world. Egyptians abhor theft, but there are not only Egyptians...
- Bring a small backpack for excursions, for water, camera, mid-season jacket, etc.
- It is advisable to bring a compass, a crank flashlight, a magnifying glass and a pen
- Bring a coat for the night on the boat and some temples that are visited at night.
- Bring small bills for the first few days. In Egypt, vendors and guides can exchange coins for small bills (5 and 10 euros or dollars)
- There are banks in the hotels and you can withdraw or exchange money. The exchange rate is the official one, which is always up to date at www.xe.com
- Leave room in your suitcase for your purchases, which always come back heavier. There is a laundry service on the boats and hotels. 23 kg per person is the maximum without paying extra on the plane.
- Comfortable shoes for walking a lot, better if they are ankle-straps. Although it is not "adventure tourism" and children or very old people go, we visit places with stones, sand, tunnels, stairs...
- Clothes: On the boat and in the hotels they wash clothes, but it is better to bring enough for one wash on the boat or hotel.
- In Egypt you can buy TUNICS very cheaply (no more than 15 or 20 euros). There is always haggling, but we ask you not to abuse them. On the trip we talked about fair prices.
- Swimsuit for free time on the boat and slippers (DO NOT BRING TOWELS, there are many everywhere)
- Remember that you are going to take more than a thousand photos, so bring rechargeable batteries and memory cards. THE POWER OUTLETS IN EGYPT is 220-230 v. but we recommend taking a thick to thin plug adapter. Many phones like the Galaxy show bions in photos and videos. Some others do too, but those are safe. In the pyramids, not only in Giza (or Gizhe), in some Temples, as well as in the Serapheum of Saqqara, you can film bions in abundance.
- Passport with expiration of more than six months from the day of travel.
- If someone has any special health problem or food restriction, it is advisable to let us know, although in the buffets you will find everything. But celiacs or other people with limitations, it is better to let us know, because then everything will be prepared with great care
Imagine you are going to Barcelona or Mexico, but much cheaper, with less pollution, with going up and down stairs and tunnels, with so much to film and photograph that you will not find a more impressive place in the world and with such a quantity of archaeological elements in sight...
Do not carry sharp objects or liquids in your hand luggage.
You can carry ham in an airtight container, whisky, wine, etc., in your suitcases, because there it is difficult to get alcohol at normal prices. On the ships and hotels there is everything, but alcohol is more expensive.Imagine you are going to Barcelona or Mexico, but much cheaper, with less pollution, with going up and down stairs and tunnels, with so much to film and photograph that you will not find a more impressive place in the world and with such a quantity of archaeological elements in sight...

Beer: you can't take it in your suitcases, because it's dangerous for it to burst. Also, Egyptian beers are very good. I don't think they let it on planes, but there's no problem with other liquors. Bottles should always be well wrapped with clothes.
If someone smokes joints, they better be prepared to endure all those days. Marijuana is detected at the airport and you know... Users of other drugs, we would appreciate it if you would refrain from traveling with us if you can't avoid it. You can take whatever tobacco you want, but it can also be found there and cheaper.
If you have any other questions, please ask Viky.
